Friendly, dynamic, innovative
Saffron Walden Choral Society is a vibrant, highly accomplished choir, known for our innovative programming and polished performances. Our repertoire ranges from Renaissance to Contemporary music, and we perform regularly at the world-class Saffron Hall. We are also committed to community engagement and we have annual Spirit of Christmas concerts with local schools at St Mary's, the town's beautiful parish church.
Our rehearsals are normally held on Mondays from 7:30-9:45pm at Saffron Walden County High School. Rehearsals are often demanding, and we work hard, but they are great fun and very satisfying.
We offer enthusiastic singers of all ages and all walks of life the opportunity to join our dynamic and friendly group. Give us a try - come along to three or four rehearsals before having a short voice test with our musical director, Quintin Beer.
